History

Football is the sport king in Algeria and of this fact in Algiers. It is practised on all the scales and the capital counts more than one hundred of clubs including eight professionals in first and the second division, most popular being the MCA, the USMA, the CRB, and if one can add the JSK through many kabyles established in Algiers. One should not especially also forget female football with the team of CF Kasbah, of the FC Bab El Oued and especially  the ESA Algiers Centre which throne on the championship and the cut since their creation and whose players constitute the principal framework of L ` recent female team national victorious of the Arab championship of the nations.

The MOULOUDIA CLUB Of ALGIERS   MCA :

It is oldest and first Moslem club creates in Algeria of or name  "the senior". It was creates in 1921 the feastday of the "Mouloud" and it is from there that the name comes from Mouloudia. It will symbolize years during resistance to colonization and quickly becomes the most popular club in Algeria and this until now.

The prize list of Mouloudia is rich of 6 championships of Algeria, four cuts of Algeria and especially of a cut of Africa of the clubs champions in 1976, the first for an Algerian club. The last sacring of the MCA dates from the season 1998-1999 with the title of champion of Algeria in which took part amongst other things Rafik Saifi, Amer Benali or Fodil Dob. Since Chnaoua (supporteurs of Mouloudia) remains on their hunger and hopes that the club will renaitera these ashes.

SPORTING UNION Of the MEDINA Of ALGIERS  USMA :

It is the second more popular club of Algiers after the MCA. It was creates in 1937 under the name of the Of Algiers Moslem Sporting Union in the district of Soustara. The beginnings were very difficult especially with the bursting of the Second World War and the suspension of the championship, but with the passing of years the club  knew to be structured and increase at the point to become today one of the large Algerian club with the JSK.

Dimensioned sports results after the title of the season 1962-1963, the USMA knew starting from the beginning of the Eighties intermittently one period ostentation with seven cut of Algeria and three new titrates of champion. Only black spot in the table, the absence of a continental title which will especially confirm international dimension on the African level that took the USMA these last years. The club gave birth to several good players that that is in years 60-70-80 (Bernaoui, Allik, Guedioura...) or more recently (Hamdani, Rahim, Dziri, Achiou, Ghazi...).

CHABAB RIADHI BELOUIZDAD CRB :

The CRB is the club headlight of the historical district of known in the past Belouizdad under the name of Belcourt. It is also connected in Laakiba mythical district of the Algiers center. It was creates in 1962 at the dawn of independence and was one of the best Algerian clubs during the Sixties. With the instar of the other of Algiers clubs, several large Algerian players evolved/moved there through these five decades with the image of Lalmas, Abrouk, Kalam, Yahi. 

The chabab was victorious of 6 championships of Algeria, the last dating from the season 2000-2001 as well as  5 cuts of Algeria including three against the rival eternal the USMA. Just like the latter, the reds and white (color of the club) never conquered  of continental title, which account rectified the current brains trust with the construction of a young competitive team, a stability on the level of technical staff and especially the unconditional support of all the fans.

NASR ATHLETIQUE Of Hussein-DEY   NAHD :

The milaha as likes to call it its supporteurs is a club of the center is capital. Create in 1947 by the fusion of the three clubs of the district of Hussein Dey, the NAHD answered the call of the war of liberation and had its batch of martyrdoms like all the Algerian clubs of the time. The colors of the club are blood and gold and it evolves/moves at the Zioui stage with the c?ur even of the district.

The nasria gained the championship of Algeria during the season 1966-1967 as well as the cut of Algeria in 1979, just as he was finalist of the cut of Africa of the winners of cut always in 1979. Since there had no trophy in spite of the pleiad of talented players that the club gave birth to at the beginning of the Eighties like  Madjer, Merzekane, Is El Hocine, Guendouz... or more recently like Magraoui, Aliche, Bendebka or Yacef inter alia.

THE SPORTING YOUTH OF KABYLIE   JSK:

The JSK is undoubtedly largest and most prestigious of the Algerian clubs. It particularly counts hundreds of thousands of fan through Algeria in Kabylie and in Algiers. Its in 1946 creation date of  the club started and will surely not stop in so good way. As all the other clubs create at the time, it delivered its batch of martyrdoms for the national cause and will vegetate during a few years in lower divisions until the season 1968-1969 or it will accèdera finally in main road 1, stage which it did not leave since any more. The colors of the club are the yellow and the green.

The prize list of the JSK is richest of all the Algerian clubs, amongst other things 12 titles of champion of Algeria mainly in the Seventies and Eighties, 4 cuts of Algeria, 1 super cut of Algeria, 2 cuts of Africa of the clubs champions, 1 cut of Africa of the victorious clubs of cut, 1 super cut of Africa like successively 3 cut of the CIF in 2000, 2001 and 2002. More  the pages of the club were write by talented players (Hannachi, Iboud, Fergani, Cerbah, Menad, Bouiche, Meftah, saib.......) but also by trainers of exception (Matiga, Zywotko, Khalef).

PARADOU ATHLETIC CLUB   CAP  :

The CAP is the youngest club of the inhabitant of Algiers, it was creates in 1994 by a band of buddy of the district of Paradou  on the level of the commune of Hydra. It is one of the clubs best structured at the national level and the first to have had an official Internet site. The anecdote concerning the colors blue and yellow of the club is summarized with the presence of the embassy of Sweden meadows of the district, just as the passage of the ambassador of Sweden at the time of the discussion compared to this subject.

The course of the CAP is an example for all the clubs beginners. During 11 years of existence, the club knew 7 accessions which took along it division  Wilaya 2 to Super D1 (Division 1) or it carries out a first rather remarkable season with a classification in the six first. All this dedication is with a long-term job and a professionalism on all the levels (of the president of the club to the supporteurs while passing through the management committee and the players).
